Manhattan DIVAS at Dos Caminos in the early days.
The Manhattan DIVA Chapter is where it all started….
Our Manhattan DIVAS are the real-life Carries, Samanthas, Charlottes and Mirandas. And I’m not exaggerating.
If you want to feel like you live in an episode of “Sex and The City”, come to a DIVA luncheon in Manhattan.
Between the haute shoes, cute outfits, flawless hair and worldclass dining experience, the fabulousness is palpable.
Part fashion show, part girl-talk and a LOT of business contacts, ideas and leads, the DIVA luncheons are the gold-standard when it comes to NYC women in media, fashion, PR/Marketing getting together in a structured environment to network. This isn’t a cocktail hour, this is real-deal networking with a hand-picked group of women who now are not only business contacts but good friends and trusted confidantes to one another.
I’m a history buff so when I started DIVAS WHO DINE, I looked back to the early twenties when the captains of the steel, car and railroad industries would team up and conspire to keep the prices of their resources for one another and drive their competitors out of business. Basically they were practicing crony-ism (among other things). The DIVAS are basically cronies who conspire with one another to help take their businesses to the next level while eating at posh restaurants and wearing Christian Laboutins. Not a bad gig, if you can get it. Right?
